Music is as essential to life as breathing. The love of music is universal. The ability to play & sing is both a gift and a calling. Here's to all of those who have answered the call, to offer their gift to the world!

After
finishing this post, I realize it got a bit long, on me. But, I feel
the need to go ahead and post it. I apologize up front for it's length. I
was just sitting here thinking, contemplating, after posting about my
show last night. I am truly blessed! With Thanksgiving coming up next
week, I suppose that has put me in "thankfulness mode." First and
foremost, I want to thank my Father in Heaven for all the blessings He
has bestowed on me!
In the last couple of years, I have been
diagnosed with and cured of cancer (with the prayers and support of my
amazing family, friends &, coworkers, who are like family to me), I
have met the most wonderful woman, in Patti Hartis, who has truly made
my life sweet, I have come back to being who I truly am, singer,
songwriter, musician, performing live for the enjoyment of myself and
others. Singing and performing with My daughter Erin Hayes and now my son Jordan Hayes
has been a dream come true, for me. I have met and been befriended by
the most amazing circle of musicians, singers, songwriters and
supporters of live music. I will try to list as many as I can think of,
if I leave your name out, I apologize.
